Happy Birthday Switzerland!

On this years (2018) Swiss National Day, we decided to join Friends for a Brunch at a Farm where you have to make a Reservation before. We drove then to the valley of Vals and further up until we reached the starting point for the hike (about 1.15 Hours) up to the Alp Selva. On the way up we could observe a marmot Family playing around, very cool! Once arrived we enjoyed a fantastic brunch with delicious homemade Food and relaxed and enjoyed the view. Before heading back down, we also got some delicious mountain cheese we enjoyed the days after :)
Before going back we discovered the area further and drove to the barrier lake of Zervreila. The view there was absolutely breathtaking and I can imagine that you can enjoy there a lot of different, beautiful hikes - this time we discovered that part by car only which is also a possible way :)

All in all we enjoyed a beautiful Swiss National Day with Swiss Nature and Swiss tradition :)
